How many have you redeemed with your smile, how many with your words,
In this icy land of rubble, and weeping statues
that darken every heart
and sharpen the daggers of it’s beholders,
Bringing sweet harmony with your reckless creations,
becoming the warmth of the sun,
The spring of compassion,
And from compassion joy,
That thaws these hearts of stone,
and reanimates the soul of life
