Today in the world of information everything is circulating around the media and their way to persuade people to believe in ideologies, the creeds and everyone is injecting its thoughts to the others through this medium. But in many parts of the capitalist world, the media organizations are the main pillar to promote the notorious economical elite’s thoughts to others.
The narrative formation has become a simple weapon to colonize the mind without any conflict and military invasion to invade any land and control all the trade routes, oceans, and other resources through a soft tool, which is a new phase of colonialism and this colonialism has been inserted in our daily life.
The historical invention of the printing machine in European society has become a revolutionary source to change European society the protestant propagandist Martin Luther was an influential priest and used the language of people to persuade them. In 1954 the first Algerian nationalist newspaper Al-Moudjahid which supported the nationalist cause for the recovering of their dignity and freedom. Through pan fighters, the Algerian cause gained worldwide media coverage and developed a better understanding of the Algerian situation.
Balochistan and Baloch masses are also facing repression because of the state’s unconstitutional behavior. In Balochistan which has become a black hole for information from everywhere including indigenous media as well as from the free speech defender but on the contrary, the nationalists are also niggling the importance of media on this havoc soil because of their inadequate influence in the world. Baloch journalists are also countable who aren’t playing responsibly, to formulate an outstanding public relation mechanism to engage more masses against this repression.
Perhaps, due to the lack of technical skills and equipment we’re not focusing on it which is a failure for us. Media plays a significant role in decolonising the mind and can arouse the masses against any wrong in the society. For this, we need enthusiastic media people and intellectuals to give a direction and make our people empowered in the battle of opinion-making and need to work on our influence mechanism to make it our strength against this oppression.
